History of Raye:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~BEFORE ACADEMY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Born and raised in the Yuki Village, Raye's childhood was full of suffering. At the age of 3, his grandfather died. Even though Raye was young, there are speculations that this was the first step, to turning him in to the cold and emotionless self that he is now. Shortly after that, his grandmother fell seriously ill, and Raye's mental stability was put to a test. She sadly died a few days later, shaking him really bad. It took two years for Raye to start feeling better again, and after a special training from his father, Raye finally learned to accept death. He was now 5, and already he could take death, which interested quite a bit of the darker characters in the town, who thought that he may be a good assassin subject! Worried by that, Raye's father started training him in the basic arts of Taijutsu, so that he would be able to protect himself - at least long enough for help to arrive. Also, that's when he made Raye promise that he will never give in to the evil... Raye worked
hard, and trained everyday. He grew confident, and started going in to more advance taijutsu. One day, he learned a very powerful move on his own! Excited, he ran back to his house, to find people wearing dark clothes, standing in front of his house carrying something inside. A cry of sadness came from the crowd, as Raye recognized that it was his mum's voice - only shaken. He ran to her worried, and wanted to ask her
what was wrong, but he found the answer before he reached her. His father... his hero, laid dead. His eyes were closed, and even though he looked really peaceful, Raye couldn't stop tears trickling down his face... he's father was dead. He couldn't believe it! It must have been an illusion, wasn't it? Raye ran away to the river, where he sat at the
bank crying. A masked figure came up to him, and laughed at him, saying that he killed his father with pleasure! Enraged, Raye pushed the man into the deep water, and fought with him. Just when he was about to die, he remembered what his father taught him about Ninjutsu. He pointed at the masked killer, and mouthed the words "Raiton Raikou
Bakuha no Jutsu". His hands engulfed in lightning! The current of electricity spread in the water, and slowly entered Raye's body. Not knowing how, Raye survived that...but the his father's killer wasn't so lucky. All the lightning hit him straight in the chest, then slowly
entered into his body. With a great flash of light, the water went flying high in the air, sending Raye and the attacker on to the land. As Raye lay still, checking if his attacker was still alive, he realised what had he done - he avenged his father...

Realising that the killer didn't work on his own, Raye's mum swiftly packed all their things. After awhile of looking for a better place to live, they set in the Mist Village, where his mum found a job as a local barber. He decided that he will follow his father's footsteps and join the academy, in order to kill the other people that were involved... He enrolled in the academy, and headed off to a good start. He made a few basic bonds with the his classmates, and his teacher, especially becoming friends with Vincent Uchiha and Minoru (some random people xD). He spent the free time training, and finally decided to have a final test of his strength. He asked his friend (Minoru) to spar him so that they would see how much stronger they became. The protector of the spar was going to be the famous criminal - Shinji Kuwabara. They both had a good start, showing curious styles, and interesting strategies. However once Shinji tried to attack both of them, Raye managed to convince Minoru that the criminal is their true enemy, and that they should team-up to defeat him. The battle was unresolved...
Few days after the incident, Raye and Minoru were both ranked up to the position of Genin. They went separate ways, and hopefully will meet once again in the following Chuunin exams. Raye is eager to start with his team, and eager to learn also... In the end, they two didn't meet and as Raye became a chuunin, Minoru was nowhere to be found. After some time of searching, he gave up and went back home to the Mist Village. His new life was about to begin.
